The School of Oceanography at Shanghai Jiao Tong University conducts research  in both basic marine science and applied science and technology for ocean  processes, environment restoration and protection, ecosystem conservation and  climate change; provides vigorous educational programs in marine science and  technology for both undergraduate and graduate students; and serves the public,  nation and global communities.
